Reservation monitoring – As part of the full line of services we provide, Connections has a staff of reservationists to manage your account. A reservations manager will be assigned to oversee your guest room usage, working closely with the reservation department at your chosen hotel (s). She/he will be responsible for keeping you informed of guest room pick up and room allotment, obtaining your VIP and keynotes speakers lists, and monitoring your cut-off dates. We will provide you the opportunity to extend your cut-off date, based upon availability which enables last minute reservations into the host hotel.
If the host hotel fills up, the Connections reservation manager will contact the closest acceptable hotel for overflow rooms. This process will continue until the last reservation has been taken. We will never turn away a request for reservations. In the event rooms at the host hotel become available, Connections will contact and move attendees back to that hotel. Thus enabling you to fulfill your contractual obligations at the hotel in regard to total guest room consumption to ensure no attrition fees are incurred.
